Installing Cisco Umbrella involves setting up the DNS-layer security service to protect your network from threats and enforce policies. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

• Create an Account:
• Visit the Cisco Umbrella website.
• Sign up for an account or contact Cisco for a trial or purchase.

8. Update and Maintain

• Regular Updates:
• Ensure that the Umbrella Roaming Client is kept up-to-date on all devices.

• Connectivity Issues:
• Ensure DNS settings are correctly applied on your router or devices.
• Check that the Umbrella DNS IPs are reachable.
• Policy Enforcement:
• Verify that policies are correctly configured and assigned.
• Check the Umbrella dashboard for logs and insights into policy enforcement and blocked requests.
