Job Position – Systems
Systems Support Engineer
As a System Support Engineer at our IT company, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional technical support to our clients through our remote Support Center. Your responsibilities will include resolving technical issues over the phone, managing and maintaining our CRM/ticketing system, and ensuring client documentation is kept up to date.
You will be responsible for maintaining efficient and accurate computing environments and infrastructure solutions for all clients, while delivering services according to scheduled contracts. Addressing client account issues promptly and professionally, you will interact with both clients and employees in a courteous and business-like manner. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring seamless support coverage.

Preferred qualifications for this role include holding certifications such as MTA: IT Infrastructure (Preferred), MCSA: Windows Server 2016 (Preferred), VMware VCA (Preferred), ACSP: Apple Certified Support Professional (Preferred), and CompTIA: Server+.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, ensuring effective collaboration and clear information exchange.
- Broad understanding of the information technology industry, specifically in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft infrastructure management, enabling proficient system operations.
- Proven experience in managing backup systems.
- Demonstrated professionalism and cooperative demeanor when interacting with colleagues, partners, and clients, fostering positive working relationships.
- Strong ability to handle challenging and high-pressure work situations, demonstrating resilience and effective problem-solving skills.
- Extensive expertise in computing environment and infrastructure management, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Physical agility and strength to handle up to 40 lbs. and effectively utilize computer equipment in a demanding work environment.
- Hands-on proficiency in desktop support, basic server and email administration, and adeptness in configuring and troubleshooting consumer-grade firewalls.
Qualifications:
- A High School Graduate or holder of a GED is required for this position, with a college degree being preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a technology support role, indicating a proven track record in effectively addressing technical challenges.
- Possessing strong technical acumen, staying up-to-date with industry advancements, and showcasing expertise in relevant technologies.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, enabling the delivery of superior support and building positive relationships with clients.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
