Continuing the process of matching features found in rival cloud services, Microsoft OneDrive has been updated to include a new Albums feature. This follows similar functionality that can be found in Google Drive and Dropbox.
Users can now organize their photos into albums from the OneDrive iOS app, with Android and Windows Phone versions to follow soon. Once images are grouped together, they are displayed in a carousel format designed to show off photos in a clear, uncluttered interface.
There are also plans to add new features to support photos, according to a OneDrive company blog post. These include automatic photo import for Windows 7 and Windows 8, and automatic tagging to group similar photos together.
