Responding to this demand, BlackBerry has released the new version of its mobile device management platform, BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) 12.
The new iteration includes several useful features to make devices and their data more secure. As well as advanced end-to-end encryption, administrators can use application wrapping to execute code in isolated containers. In addition, the BES 12 now supports BlackBerry Enterprise Identity, offering single sign-on to multiple cloud services.
Finally, the new release goes beyond BlackBerry. Enterprises can now manage Windows Phone devices in addition to Android, iOS, and BlackBerry hardware.
