Google unveiled Cardboard last year which was a low-tech headset that used your smartphone and was a big hit. It included your smartphone, two cheap lenses and $1 worth of corrugated paper to provide a virtual reality experience. This year Google has a newer version of Cardboard that is just as cheap and great as the original, but also accommodates phones up to 6 inches.
Although, there is a lot of very great content available on Cardboard, Google will have a financing program that will be called Expeditions that is created to insert virtual reality into the classroom. From a control panel, a teacher will be able to lead a class of cardboard wearing kids on a virtual expedition.
