As we have seen here the last year or so, there have been many displays and televisions that have had flexible LCD screens and they are set to release here soon. But to have smartphone with a flexible screen? That would be pretty neat. I think the biggest advantage of that type of smartphone would be its durability. It would be able to take far more damage if it were to be dropped or bumped into anything as it is designed to flex. Most modern smart phones shatter when hit or drop, or at least the screen does.
There are not many details about the new flexible OLED device but it does give the possibility for possible navigation and control options. Check out the video below of the Nokia Kinetic device and how they move the screen around with its flexibility.
