Unfortunately the Firmware updates failed and the NAS functionality is sluggish along with the interface. The interface failed to notify the tester that there was firmware available which is important. Overall the router is fast but has some bugs to fix such as the firmware update issue which helps fix bugs and security patches. Cisco Creates Update To Stop OSPF Vulnerability | BVA INC. emPowering Your IT

ciscoCisco released a security advisory on July 31st, 2014 regarding various Cisco products. These products are open to attack by unauthorized hackers. The hackers are gaining access to the OSPF by injecting crafted OSPF packets, the only OSPF packet that work are crafted unicast and multicast LAS type 1 packets. once they have compromised the system they can blackhole and intercept traffic. For those of you that use OSPFv3 and FSPF protocol, you are not affected by this security breach. Cisco has created a free software update to remedy this issue, so no need to worry. Windows Phone 8.1 UpdateIf you have a Windows Phone the 8.1 update is sub par according to an article written by NetworkWorld.com. The article states that the new upgrade can take up to 20 minutes to complete and could potentially slow down the speed or even cause your phone to freeze up. Other than that some of the new features allow you to delete and forward SMS messages in bulk and resize the icons on your phone even more than before. The new windows update allows you to use public wifi safely with the updated VPN and Cortana gets some new upgrades too such as, fun changes to her personality, hand free capability, snooze time reminders, and new language scenarios. facebookAll that typing you are hearing this morning may be the sound of actual work being done at the office!  Facebook released a statement this morning acknowledging that some users in The United States, India and Chile are experiencing outages!  Rather than catching up on the latest back-to-school outfit or getting those birthday reminders we all depend on, 85% of office workers may be forced to do some actual work today!  This has happened before and will likely happen again, maybe we all need to start using multiple social networking sites so we can get our fix more easily!

The cons are few and far between but the price compared to other like products is expensive and the over locked configuration doesn’t offer a clear performance benefit. But besides that it’s the perfect SSD for professionals that afford the price.

As well as offers file shredder capability along with a well-organized interface. The pros over weigh the cons, but it’s said to have poor toolbar and plug-in descriptions and lacks PC clean up tools. Overall this app is a must have for Windows users and is rated as excellent by Jeffery L. Wilson an editor of PCMag.com.

Amazon Rumored to Be Developing Mobile Card Reader Machine | BVA INC. emPowering Your IT –

According to PCMag.com and 9to5mac.com, Staples internal records show the Amazon Mobile Card Reader on a list along with several other existing mobile card reader products. The new mobile card reader is said to cost $9.99 to process payments and will debut sometime in August. But sources are unsure when the product will actually launch and be available to the masses.
